Sally Shen, ACNO, is pleased to announce the promotion of Anifa Andrade, RN, MSN, CMSRN, to the position of nurse manager for our soon-to-be expanded observation unit on Brazos 5.
Anifa comes with 25 years of nursing experience; 10 in the U.S. and 11 in the emergency room setting. For the last seven years, she has been the night shift charge nurse for our orthopedic/neurosurgery unit and functioned as a relief night supervisor when needed. Anifa’s experience in the fast-paced emergency setting and surgical floor prepares her well for this role. More importantly, Anifa has been a dedicated patient safety and patient satisfaction champion on her current unit.
