Hester Davis Fall Program

GOAL: Learn how to accurately score a patient’s fall risk using the Hester Davis Scale and understand the implications related to the final score.
Develop an individualized nursing care plan based on: Low Risk, Moderate Risk, or High Risk.

WHO? All RNs including: staff, PACU, AOD, Procedural Departments, Diagnostic Departments (Exempt: OR and ED nurses)

WHAT? 30-minute session via either of the following methods:

• Online LMS module (anytime starting Feb. 19)
• Live WebEx (instructions will be emailed)
  • Monday, Feb. 19, 9–9:30 a.m.
  • Thursday, Feb. 22, 7–7:30 a.m.
  • Saturday, Feb. 24, 9–9:30 a.m.
  • Tuesday, Feb. 27, 3–3:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Feb. 28, 9–9:30 a.m.
  • Friday, March 9, 1–1:30 p.m.
