The Vizient/American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) Nurse Residency Program had their annual conference in San Diego, California, March 21-23.
This year, the Houston Methodist Nurse Residency Program had two poster abstracts accepted out of the fifteen submitted from our system (HMSL and HMW). On March 23, it was announced that the evidence-based practice project poster, Reducing the Incidence of Clostridium Difficile, by Elizabeth Emmanuel, BSN, RN, 5West; Lee Cantos, BSN, RN, 5 West and Chandra Knight, BSN, RN, Brazos 6 won FIRST PLACE!
