The Journey to Magnet Excellence requires HMSL to submit documentation that speaks to 69 sources of evidence demonstrating that the Magnet Forces and standards of excellence are fully enculturated in our organization. This begins with documents that provide an overview of HMSL, our history, organizational structure, leadership, education plan and activities, professional development, policies and procedures, quality and safety plan and nursing research to name a few. The Organizational Overview will be the first documents that the Magnet appraisers will read in order to gain a greater understanding of who we are and what we do.
