Magnet Mondays – Great Leaders

July 16, 2018: Have you ever stopped to consider what it takes to be a great leader?  Here are a few characteristics and skills great leaders use to lead.

  1. Great leaders are sincere.  They don’t promise anything they can’t deliver.  They focus on what benefits those who follow them.
  2. Great leaders know exactly what they need others to do.
  3. Great leaders ask compelling questions.
  4. Great leaders are empathetic.  They find out what the other person really wants and strive to see things from the other person’s point of view.
  5. Great leaders consider the benefits the other person will receive from doing what they suggest.
  6. Great leaders match the benefits to the other person’s wants.
  7. Great leaders help others understand how they will benefit from change and praise the slightest improvements.
