Have you thought of a great idea or a better way of doing something?
What did you do with that idea?
Hopefully, you wrote it down and then spoke with someone who is a good listener. Magnet organizations rely on input from clinical nurses, interprofessionals and support staff to help improve the structures, processes and outcomes in our organization. These ideas for improvement must be evidence based so after you find someone to listen to your idea, perform a literature search to see what the research has to say. Innovation comes from having a curious mind and never being satisfied with the status quo.
Who will you share your great idea with today?
