Karen Cothran, BSN, RN, CEN, has been promoted to the Clinical Manager for Houston Methodist Emergency Care Center in Sienna Plantation.
Karen has been contributing to the HMSL team for nearly 20 years as a staff nurse, unit care coordinator and educator. She has played an integral role in our Emergency Department Professional Development Council throughout the years and is currently leading this committee as a chair. Karen has been an advocate for professional development within the Emergency Department and hospital-wide as a Magnet co-chair.
