Amalia “Rose” Gonzales, MSN, RN, OCN is now the oncology nurse navigator with a focus on breast and gynecologic oncology patients.In her role, Rose will educate patients about their diagnosis, advocate for individuals undergoing cancer treatments, help patients make timely decisions about treatment, provide assistance with scheduling, and coordinate with the doctors involved.
Rose is originally from the Philippines where she started to work as an RN in 2004. In 2010, Rose joined HMSL as an RN on the inpatient oncology unit, 4 East. She is an oncology certified nurse, and completed her Master’s Degree in Nursing with an education focus in June of 2017.
