Rodelyn Berdin, PT, DPT of the Inpatient Rehab Department was recognized as a fellow in the Texas Physical Therapy Association (TPTA) during their Annual Conference (October 27-30, 2016) held in the Fort Worth Convention Center, Fort Worth, TX.
A pinning ceremony was held on October 27 during the association’s annual meeting where she was introduced and pinned as a fellow in the “Tom Waugh Leadership Development Program (TWLDP).” The event was attended by physical therapy leaders that included TPTA President Mike Connors, TWLDP Chair and TPTA Vice President Denise Gobert, World Confederation for Physical Therapy (WCPT) President Emma Stokes, and American Physical Therapy Association House of Delegates (APTA HOD) Director Carolyn Oddo.
The TWLDP is a chapter leadership program of the Texas Physical Therapy Association which aims to develop professional leadership skills in PT & PTA members of the Texas Physical Therapy Association.
Rodelyn, an advanced credentialed clinical instructor in the APTA also presented a poster entitled “A Report on APTA/TPTA Membership Percentages of Clinical Instructors in Texas from Years 2011-2015.”
