We are partnering with the Fort Bend Rainbow Room to give children in crisis the opportunity to return to school with tools to succeed.
Every year, the Rainbow Room holds its school supplies drive, which benefits children referred by caseworkers from the Texas Department of Family Protective Services.
Our goal is to have every department from the hospital request at least one school supply list, and we encourage smaller departments to partner with one another to fulfill a list. An individual employee may also request a list. The school supplies drive benefits local children of elementary, middle and high school age. School supplies are due July 31.
If you or your department would like to help prepare a child for the school year, please have your manager or director email Selina Garcia at sgarcia7@houstonmethodist.org so we can request your list as soon as possible.
