Wheelchairs – Everyone Can Help

WheelchairLarryAt HMSL, we pride ourselves on our I CARE values and exemplary patient care. This includes ensuring that an adequate number of wheelchairs are available at every entrance — including the Emergency Department and medical office buildings.

It is imperative that wheelchairs be available at all times for seriously ill patients coming into the ED as well as those coming through the entrances for surgery, imaging and doctor visits. This can only be achieved with the help of all employees and volunteers.

Please watch for wheelchairs left in the parking lots, garage, and in the hallways and offices of all three medical office buildings.  If you see a hospital wheelchair, please take the time to return it to the lobby of the hospital or nearest medical office building.

Patient safety is our number one priority.  Thank you for helping us fulfill our promise to cultivate a safe, spiritual and healing environment for everyone we serve.

This Is Not The Intranet

This website contains weekly news for HMSL employees and volunteers. This is not to be confused with the Houston Methodist intranet. More in-depth information about each department can be found on the intranet site.
