Byte Smart Fridge

We’ve heard you loud and clear – you need after-hours food options! HMSL is planning to pilot two Byte smart fridges on our campus to provide our staff and physicians with delicious cold beverage and food offerings after hours, when the Garden Café and Starbucks locations have closed.

We would like to hear from you on what items you would like to see stocked in these fridges.

Complete the Byte smart fridge pilot survey by Dec. 12 to provide input on what you’d like to see in these fridges.

Our Food and Nutrition Services team is excited to bring you this innovative after-hours dining option! Details regarding location of the fridges and timeline for deployment are forthcoming.

I would like to see sandwiches, maybe food we can warm up in the microwave. Salads, fruits and burritos all sound like good ideas. As well as puddings and prepared items ready to eat.

Hello I wish we could have a smoothie machine on the campus! But as far as options for Smart Fridge options I’d like to see; A variety of sandwiches, fruits, nuts, chips, yogurts, drinks

Thanks for the consideration! Yes those of us who work after hours could use food items after hours.

I’m flexible but would be interested in something partially healthy: fruit, fresh salads, protein drinks, ?fresh cup of soup (if possible) .
