Share COVID-19 Results Release Process with Patients

This instructional handout will help patients access their COVID-19 test results quickly and easily which is now available through MyChart.

Their COVID-19 test results will auto-release immediately to MyChart without a 24-hour hold. This will give patients their results as soon as possible and help reduce calls and questions to you and/or your clinic.

Patients tested in clinics, testing centers, PATs or EDs will receive automated COVID-19 test information through CareSense, including texts, calls and/or email alerts when the results are ready. Additional FAQ materials will also be provided for positive or negative results.

Note: the CareSense system will not send messages to admitted patients.
