The Texas Department of State Health Services announced Tuesday that all adults will be eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine starting March 29. Houston Methodist is offering another opportunity for employees to add friends and family (including family on the HM Employee Medical Plan) to the HM vaccine waiting list. Each employee may submit up to four names of friends and family who are age 16 or over, regardless of health conditions.

When you submit names, they will be added to our waiting list, but they will be contacted based on priority group and age aligned with the criteria that is updated routinely on the Houston Methodist website. We continue to encourage everyone to take the first available vaccine, which could be earlier through other providers due to our patient population and waiting list. Multiple submissions are unable to be accepted, so please submit all four names in one submission. Only the first submission will be accepted if you make more than one submission.
