Use Your 2023 DEI Personal Day
Eligible employees may begin using their 2023 DEI Personal Day PTO hours to celebrate days that are special to them or other members of their faith, race, nationality or anything else that makes them unique. Please note that unlike standard PTO, the hours do not roll over to the next year, so don’t forget to use your personal day before the last day of the final pay period of 2023, which is December 16, 2023. Celebrating MLK Day
Mark your calendar for Monday, January 16 for the systemwide, in-person and virtual celebration of the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The event is scheduled from 11 a.m. to noon and begins with remarks by Houston Methodist President & CEO Dr. Marc Boom. Leadership at each campus will offer remarks. Rice University President Reginald DesRoches will be the featured speaker.
