Three of our Houston Methodist Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) contributed to this year’s heart walk – showing up in a big way. The groups – Black Ties for Culture, the Hispanic Latinx Alliance and the Veterans Alliance – made significant donations towards the cause and got to experience the event with their own ERG members as well as getting to know those from other ERGs.
Employee Resource Groups are a great way to get to know fellow Houston Methodist employees with common experiences and interests or learn about a different culture. There are currently five formal ERGs – Black Ties for Culture, the Hispanic Latinx Alliance, the Veterans Alliance, Asian Heritage and LGBTQ+ Allies.
