The annual Employee Opinion Survey will begin Oct. 7 and continue through Oct. 28. Although 2020 has been a year like no other, we believe it’s still critically important to measure how Houston Methodist employees are feeling and how engaged you are. In fact, it may be even more important to measure this year because we need to know what you need and expect and to assess how well we are meeting your needs.
Here’s what you need to know.
- You will receive the link to the survey in an email from Press Ganey on Oct. 7. If you have opted in to receive text messages from Houston Methodist, you also will receive a text message during the campaign with a link to the survey.
- As in previous years, there will be a random drawing for prizes for those who participate in the survey. This year, however, winners will get to select from a variety of prizes.
- Click here to see the prizes available for Weeks 1 and 2. Week 1 winners will be drawn Oct. 15, and Week 2 winners will be drawn Oct. 21, so the sooner you complete the survey, the more drawings your name will be in.
During Weeks 1 and 2, the prizes will have an approximate retail value of $100. In Week 3, prizes will be worth approximately $400. On Nov. 4, we’ll draw the name of the grand prize winner for a prize worth $1,000.
Houston Methodist Sugar Land will also be offering a limited supply of Houston Astros face masks when you show that you’ve completed your survey. You may take either a print out of the last page or photo proof to the table across the Main Pavilion Starbucks on the following days:
- Oct. 7 through Oct. 9 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Oct. 8 from 6 to 8 a.m.
Emilyn Rodriguez says
We as leaders in our unit (as a Nurse Manager) we have to set a good example how to be resilient and how to stay protected by doing what is right = like wearing mask and face shield and maintain social distancing. Giving recognitions & gratitude to those who are always compliant and highlighting the effort the team has done for the patients and for each other is very important during this time. When people are scared, it is very important to be there with them by calming them down with good sourced information, a listening ear to what they are going through, offering support and understanding and making them feel they are not alone.
