Helping Our Community

The Nightshift Governance Committee project to feed local children and our annual partnership with the Rainbow Room were a huge success.

Kid’s Meal Inc’s mission is to end childhood hunger by delivering free healthy meals to the doorsteps of Houston’s hungriest preschool-aged children and through collaboration provide their families with resources to help end the cycle of poverty. Over 400 lunches were made that took two days to deliver.

The Rainbow Room is a resource room stocked with snacks, diapers, school supplies, clothes, toiletries, toys and other items frequently needed to meet the emergency needs of families in crisis. Several departments and individuals provided children with shoes that they’ll need. Shoes were either send directly to the Rainbow Room or were personally delivered.

Thank you to everyone that participated. We couldn’t have done it without you or your generosity!
