Holiday Festivities

Below are some specific tips for being safe, as well as ways to express your gratitude during this special season. Because of the growing numbers in our community testing positive for COVID-19, the perfect scenario is not to host or join any gatherings for Christmas.

  • If you are going to participate in a department Christmas lunch, please bring food individually served or wrapped. Plan your meal accordingly.
  • Please do not use crockpots or shared utensils.
  • Please do not serve the food buffet style.
  • Feel free to eat at the same time, but keep separated as much as possible—especially when your mask is off and you are eating.
  • Remember to wash or sanitize your hands before, during and after your meal.
  • Do wish each other well and express gratitude to your coworkers, especially during these trying times.

This Is Not The Intranet

This website contains weekly news for HMSL employees and volunteers. This is not to be confused with the Houston Methodist intranet. More in-depth information about each department can be found on the intranet site.
