We take time each May during National Hospital Week to honor our employees who all do an exceptional job serving our patients and their families. You do this every single day – even during the most challenging times, as you’ve recently shown us. This past year has been unlike any other we’ve experienced, and as I look back on everything we’ve been through, it’s more important than ever to thank you for your dedication and the many sacrifices you make for our patients. You never fail to shine, even when faced with a pandemic that changed the way we work and live. We are blessed at Houston Methodist to have such high-caliber nurses and employees, and I’m proud to work alongside the very best.
To show our gratitude for all your hard work during these extraordinary times, every Houston Methodist employee will receive a gift – a Houston Methodist outdoor folding chair with a cooler pocket. We expect the chairs to arrive in mid-June, so please stay tuned for more details about how you’ll receive your gift.
