FEBRUARY 8, 2023 — The world continues to watch the aftermath of the devastating earthquake that has upended lives in Turkey and Syria and taken the lives of 35,000 people. This crisis has left many without food and shelter while they continue to search for loved ones. As Houston Methodist is committed to helping those most in need beyond our hospitals walls, we invite employees to stand with the people of Turkey and Syria through their journey to recovery. One way to do this is to donate to organizations with a mission to assist those who are displaced, suffering from injuries and/or grieving loved ones as a result of earthquake. Show your support by contributing to any of the organizations listed below that are working tirelessly to help those on ground in Turkey and Syria. For questions about the donation pages, please contact the Office of Community Benefits via email at communitybenefits@houstonmethodist.org.
