Inpatient Rehab Staff Planted Trees with the Sugar Land Community

On November 3rd, the inpatient rehab staff joined the Sugar Land community volunteers in planting around 300 five gallon native hardwoods in Brazos River Park.

Community volunteers that participated were KSLB Youth Advisory Board, Clements NJROTC, Clements Interact, Clements Earth, Dulles Green, Kempner Student Council, Kempner NHS, Fort Bend Church, National Charity League, and SL Jewels.

The “Trees Across Sugar Land” event was organized by the Keep Sugar Land Beautiful (kslb.org) whose mission is “to educate and engage everyone to take responsibility for the environmental health of our community.”
