It is with pleasure that I announce the promotion of Katherine Sauceda to Director of Guest Relations and Patient Experience effective immediately.
Katherine has been part of the Houston Methodist family since joining in 2008 as a patient liaison. She was quickly promoted to lead patient liaison and most recently, manager of guest relations.
During her time here, she’s helped with the design and implementation for the MIDAS roll out and the Patient Experience Module within that. She’s also conducted a request for proposal for language services and rolled out Stratus to the system; continuing to drive strategy for that effort. Katherine was also the champion for revamping the lost belongings policy that was eventually adopted by other entities in the system.
While tending to duties here, she served on the communications committee for the Texas Alliance for Patient Services from 2011 to 2013 and is currently the chair of the system guest relations council.
