Magnet Mondays – Accountability to Ownership

January 27, 2020-  I hope you’ve had the chance to read Joe Tye’s book, The Florence Prescription, from Accountability to Ownership.  In the book the characters often pondered “what would Florence do?” when they were faced with challenging situations.

Health care is rapidly changing, with demands on our time, resources, and energy.  The beauty of being part of a team and family is that “if we each do our part, we will change our lives for the better. If we all do our parts, we will change our organization for the better (Tye, 2017).

I want to leave you with a quote from Florence that helps put this in perspective; “I think one’s feelings waste themselves in words; they ought all to be distilled into actions which bring results.” Thank you for all you do to make HMSL an unparalleled place of healing and hope.
