This was posted by the nursing staff at St. Anthony’s Health Center:
“Yes, I’m a patient, but don’t avoid me just because I’m ill. Be the friend, the loved one, you’ve always been. Weep with me when I weep. Laugh with me when I laugh. Don’t be afraid to share this with me. Call me first but don’t be afraid to visit. I need you, I get lonely. Bring me a positive attitude – it’s catching! Help me celebrate today, tomorrow – life!”
