Magnet Mondays – Forgiveness

June 8, 2020 – What do you think about this quote, “Unforgiveness is like drinking poison yourself and waiting for the other person to die.” (source unknown). Did you know that forgiveness has a positive impact on your health and well-being? Amanda L. Chan identified some of these benefits:

1. Being a forgiving person can protect against long term stress
2. Practicing forgiveness can have immune system benefits
3. Choosing to forgive is good for your heart as it lowers blood pressure

Desmond Tutu said, “Forgiveness says you are given another chance to make a new beginning.”

Tyler Perry speaks on forgiveness, “it’s not an easy journey, to get to a place where you forgive people, but it is such a power place, because it frees you!”
