June 24, 2019: We have reached the 2019 half-way point and most of our staff are in the middle of completing on-line and in person competencies for focal point review.
With so much on our plates it may be difficult to stop and think about why we do this. I challenge you to view competencies from a benefit mindset of being well and doing good as an everyday leader.
How do competencies fit into the big picture for you, our patients, our hospital, and community? What message does this send our patients and community when we demonstrate we are competent in our skills? How have competencies uncovered your strengths and areas of growth opportunity?
