Magnet Mondays – What is Gratitude?

May 25, 2020 – Here’s a funny story about gratitude.

An elderly gentleman purchased a new suit. He asked his wife to iron his pants before he met his friends for lunch.

His wife got the iron too hot and put a burn mark right in the middle of the right leg.

The elderly gentleman looked at his wife and said, “I’m grateful that my leg wasn’t in the pants when you ironed them.”

Gratitude is the quality of being thankful, showing appreciation, demonstrating kindness, and focusing on what you have, even when we get a “burn” on our new pants.
