October 14, 2019 – This pass week, 22 of our Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital employees attended the American Nurses Credentialing Center National Magnet Conference in Orlando, Florida with 10,000 colleagues from around the world.
The conference theme was ‘Educate, Innovate and Celebrate.’ We celebrated Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital’s second Magnet designation and Houston Methodist West Hospital’s first Magnet designation.
Our own Shermel Edwards Maddox provided a poster presentation on Certification Attainment through Mentorship Program (CAMP) for the Brazos 6 nurses.
