May 27, 2019: Fishing Practice 2 – play! When was the last time you had fun and played like a kid? When teams play together there is a positive impact on retention, morale, customer service, and belonging. Play creates positive energy and happy people treat others well.
What can you do to bring a sense of fun and positive energy to your unit/department? Here some ideas the Magnet champions thought of:
- Start a joke-of-the month
- Perform a random act of kindness
- Go for a picnic
- Invite someone for a milk and cookies break
- Go bowling after work as a group
- Do an icebreaker before a meeting starts so the team can get to know each other better
