February 11, 2019 — The Shared Governance Fair was a great success! Special thank you to all the council chairs, co-chairs and mentors for putting on such a creative, fun, and informative event.
One hundred eighty people attended the fair to learn about the 12 HMSL Shared Governance Councils. Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital also collected three, large carts of new or gently used clothing for the clients at Access Health. Thank you for your kindness and generosity to our community partners.
Raffle winners were:

- Marilyn Guzman, RN – Mother-Baby Unit
The voting was very close for the Shared Governance council booths:
- Winner of the Most Creative Council Poster – Research and Evidence-Based Practice Council
- Winner of the People’s Choice Award – Magnet Champions
- Winner of the Council’s goals support one of the HMSL breakthrough objective – Clinical Informatics
