Marian Anderson String Quartet

Please join at noon on Thursday, July 29, to hear the renowned Marian Anderson String Quartet hosted by CPAM. They will be performing live at Houston Methodist Hospital in Crain Garden. The concert will also be live-streamed at: https://youtu.be/bPWzRDAycog.

They are the first African-American ensemble in history to win a classical music competition, placing first at the International Cleveland Quartet Competition in 1991. With performance venues that range from the 1993 Presidential Inaugural, Alice Tully Hall and the Library of Congress to soup kitchens and juvenile correctional facilities, the Marian Anderson String Quartet continues to uphold its mission to create new and diverse audiences for American chamber music.
