What is the Mega Community Vaccine Event?
In our effort to help at-risk patients and people in the community who are the most vulnerable, we are receiving a large delivery of vaccines to hold a vaccination event on our campus Feb. 5-7 with a subsequent event Feb. 26-28 to administer their second dose.
Hours of operation will be:
- Friday, Feb. 5 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Saturday, Feb. 6 and Sunday, Feb. 7 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Per State of Texas guidelines, we are working with our community partners to identify Fort Bend County residents who are 65 and older to fill these spots. Click here to go to the vaccine registration site.
Where will this event be taking place?
Patients with appointments will enter through the Main Pavilion and register in the dining area across from the Main Pavilion Starbucks. We will be utilizing the area in the Brazos Pavilion Conference Center for vaccination distribution. The Main Pavilion Atrium, in front of the Garden Cafe, will be used for observation.
The area in front of the Garden Cafe Starbucks has been blocked off to utilize for this event.
Where should staff and patients park?
Starting Thursday afternoon, we will block approximately 250 parking spaces in the area in front of Medical Office Building 1 (MOB1) and Brazos Pavilion.
MOB1 staff and patients will need to park in either the Sweetwater Pavilion Parking Garage. MOB3 staff and patients will need to park in Main Pavilion Parking or the surface lot south of the Main Pavilion Parking Garage. Physicians and staff parking in the garages should park on level four and higher.
Hospital employees will need to park in the surface lot south of the Main Pavilion Parking Garage.
How will I access areas that will be occupied by this event?
Employees should use the back hallways and employee elevators to travel from Main Pavilion to Sweetwater Pavilion and back. The public Brazos Pavilion elevator will not be accessible while this event is being held.

Can my son-in-law, who is a physical therapist at Encompass Vintage Park Hospital but has been unable to get a vaccine, come to this event? He is listed as a 1A person.

Hi Pam. This event is specically for those 65 and older. If your son-in-law fits that criteria, then you can use the link to request an invitation for this event.
