Introduction to Mindfulness: A 2-hr Continuing Education (CE) Course
Instructor led, live classroom via Zoom
At the conclusion of this activity, the participant should be able to: (1) Define mindfulness, (2) discuss how mindfulness can improve health and well-being in everyday living and in the workplace, and (3) describe mindfulness tools that can be applied to everyday living.
Note: Video participation is required for continuing education credit and highly encouraged for all others.

Wednesday, Sep. 28 — 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Mindfulness: A Resource for Resilience Workshop (4 weeks, 1hr/wk)
Instructor led, live classroom via Zoom
Over four weeks, learners will deepen their practice of mindfulness and resiliency skills through an online course delivered via Zoom meeting. Each week will emphasize a specific theme, including: Using mindfulness to foster self-awareness and flexible responses; attending to the present moment with a curious and non-judgmental approach the present moment with a curious and non-judgmental approach; cultivating the capacity to aim, sustain and re-focus attention while maintaining awareness of the “bigger picture” in challenging and stressful situations; and maximizing existing strengths and minimizing the harmful effects of stress on mind and body.
