Sundown on Wednesday, April 8 marks the beginning of Passover (or Pesach) for our Jewish colleagues. It is a week-long observance commemorating the freedom and exodus of the Israelites who were slaves in Egypt. One of the most widely celebrated Jewish holidays, this season includes family gatherings and ritual meals called Seders where the story of the Israelites’ escape from ancient Egypt is shared. “Happy Passover” is a good greeting to use with your Jewish colleagues.
