Patient Throughput Efforts

We have a vision to provide superior care and exceptional service to those we serve. Our campus has partnered again with our Internal Consulting team to optimize patient throughput and length of stay by reducing barriers, improving processes, and providing the necessary tools and training to our staff.

We understand that no one person has all the solutions. It takes a team to provide superior care and exceptional service. The goal of this effort is to make our daily activities more efficient and effective; yielding positive results for our patients, you and our hospital. The Houston Methodist Internal Consulting team will be helping us establish some new processes to enhance patient flow through HMSL. You may see them on campus today, September 13.

We will continue to keep you abreast of the progress of our efforts. Thank you for all you do and for helping all of us provide superior care and exceptional service!
