MARCH 4, 2022 —
Dear God,
Stretch out Your mighty hand into the fog of war in Ukraine.
Grip the trembling lives of the frightened as they flee the devastation,
and don’t let go.
Strengthen the resolve of the seasoned and the sudden soldiers
as they defend their homes, their families, their nation
against this unjust aggression.
Bind the wounds of the victims.
Comfort the grieving,
sustain our employees and physicians who call Ukraine their homeland.
Stretch out Your mighty hand into the noise of violence,
the shouts of anger and agony,
and bring this tragedy to a close
before it becomes worse than it already is.
We pray for Your strength,
Your wisdom,
Your peace.
