Four employees from each of the service lines (Ambulatory Surgery, Emergency Department, Inpatient Services and Outpatient Services) have been named as a “Quarterly Star” in recognition for their commitment to our patients and I CARE values. These employees have been selected based on outstanding patient comments and feedback received. Each month we alternate between featuring employees who received exceptional recognition from one of our various surveys (NRC Survey, RealTime, CONNECT Discharge Phone Calls, MyRounding) and employees who have been noted as going above and beyond through feedback from the Service Quality team and Guest Relations rounds.
We are excited to showcase and recognize the amazing hard work that our employees deliver to our patients on a daily basis. Thank you for being a part of our journey to unparalleled.
Tyler Burge, RN – Emergency Department

- The service was very good at the hospital. It was excellent. And I want to recommend Tyler, he was superb. He stayed with me the whole time he was on the floor, didn’t sit down one time and always was there whenever we wanted him. And I just really would like to give him a real hurrah. You can tell he cares for people.

- My nurse Erica was awesome! She was by my side answering any questions I had and very comforting to me. My husband passed away unexpectedly at Houston Methodist Sugar Land years ago and Erica gave me some much needed reassurance especially in these uncertain times. Thanks Erica.

- I would like to recognize one of my pre-op nurses, Erika Hernandez who was able to get my IV on the first try with me being a very hard stick.

- During my stay I was very ill, confused, and I wasn’t aware of everything that was going on. Mike, an RN that was on my floor, was outstanding. He calmed me & tried to explain to me what was happening. He bridged a misunderstanding between me and a doctor that I didn’t. The staff is outstanding and I consider them the best of the best.
Abeir Ibrahim, Ultrasound Tech – Outpatient

- Abby was awesome! She let me video call my husband since he couldn’t be in the ultrasound room with me, and she showed him the baby for about 5 minutes before she began the actual process of capturing images and measuring. It was great, and she got as excited as me when the baby did something/moved a certain way. I’m grateful she was my technician.
