Soaring Together

During the past two years, we have each learned what it means to spread our wings as we all went above and beyond to be there for each other and our community. A systemwide task force involving participants from Patient Experience, Spiritual Care & Values Integration, Guest Relations, Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion, Human Resources, Wellness, Organizational Development, and the Center for Performing Arts Medicine is launching a new community art project, called Soaring Together. We invite you to think about how you soared to new heights and participate in this inspiring art project. You’ll receive a template of a feather from your campus starting Nov. 15 that you can write on, decorate and design to illustrate what inspires you and lifts you up. We will bring the templates to the units for you to decorate, and we will also have booth times available where you can complete your template at the booth. All of the feathers will be combined to form our wings at each hospital and show how we are soaring together. The wings will be made on a 40 x 60 foam board that can be temporarily installed on the wall. Please see the photos for a look at what the final project will look like.

You will receive more specific information from your campus soon. I encourage you to participate and be creative as we work together to build this wonderful artwork.
