Thank you so much for participating in the Soaring Together project! A multidisciplinary, multi-department, multi-hospital taskforce launched a new community art project, called Soaring Together, where we invited you to write on, decorate, and design a feather illustrating what inspires you and lifts you up. Your responses were funny, inspiring, and creative. We learned Houston Methodist employees really love their dogs. Pets are apparently very uplifting to employees. Netflix/Hulu also got a nod. Houston Methodist’s gifts and bonuses bring employees joy and lift our spirits. And, of course, our families, friends, and supportive coworkers help, too.
Each of those feathers—your work and creativity—were all combined to form our wings and show how we are Soaring Together. The results are just fabulous! We will send out dates and location when they’re all displayed so you take a picture in front of the art mural to share on social media.
