Chaplains are available for spiritual and emotional support any time you need us. At Houston Methodist Hospital Sugar Land Hospital, we have an in-house chaplain every day.
Pastoral support and crisis intervention are available every day. Office hours for the Department of Spiritual Care are as follows:

Monday through Friday on-site Chaplain coverage is available. |
| 12 am – 6:30 am | Monday through Friday, spiritual needs are met through on-call coverage which is staffed by PRN Chaplains, CPE Chaplain Residents, and Staff Chaplains. A Chaplain can be reached through PerfectServe. |
| 3:30 pm – 12 am | Sunday – Thursday on-site coverage is provided by the Night Chaplain. |
| Weekends 8:30 am – 5 pm |
Saturday – Sunday on-site coverage is provided by Staff Chaplains. |
| 7 pm on Fridays thru 7 am on Mondays | On-Call PRN Chaplain, CPE Chaplain Residents, and Chaplain support are provided. |
Located in the Brazos Pavilion, room B1107, the Department of Spiritual Care and Values Integration is staffed by spiritual representatives of many different denominations and is committed to inclusive spiritual care for patients, families, and staff, delivered with compassion and respect for human dignity.
If you would like a visit from a chaplain, please contact us at 281-274-7164. After hours, on weekends, and on holidays, an on-call chaplain may be contacted through Perfect Serve or the Hospital Operator. You may also dial “0” on any hospital telephone during normal working hours and ask for Spiritual Care. You will be connected.

Worship
- The Brazos Chapel is located on the first floor of Brazos Pavilion and is open 24 hours a day for prayer and meditation.
- The Main Prayer Room is located on the second floor of the Main Pavilion and is open 24 hours a day for prayer and meditation
- The Muslim Prayer Room is located on the first floor of the Sweetwater Pavilion and is open 24 hours a day
Catholic Mass
- On the First and Second Thursday of each month, 12 – 12:30 pm, Catholic Mass is offered
