Our Houston Astros will host the Oakland Athletics for their home opener on Thursday, April 8 at Minute Maid Park. You are encouraged to show your support by wearing Astros T-shirts or jerseys on Thursday, pending approval from your manager.
The Garden Cafe will offer a special during lunch that includes a Chicago-style hot dog, a small bag of Lays potato chips and a 20 oz drink for $5.
After that, join the Employee Activities Committee and the Employee Morale Committee and celebrate by Swingin’ into Spring from 3 to 5 p.m. in front of the Main Pavilion Starbucks. There will be fun activities, chances to win prizes, and ballpark treats (while supplies last).
