Houston Methodist Primary Care Group is pleased to welcome Harika Medi, M.D., internal medicine physician, to Fort Bend.
Medi focuses on providing high-quality, preventive care to all her patients, while building long-term relationships. She received her undergraduate degree at Houston Baptist University, her medical degree from Texas A&M College of Medicine in Bryan, Texas, and completed her internal medicine residency and internship at Houston Methodist Hospital.
“As an internal medicine physician, I have the opportunity to empower my patients by supporting and counseling them,” said Medi. “I aim to direct their health care plan with a team-based approach.”
Medi’s clinical expertise includes complete physicals, diabetes management, thyroid concerns, and women’s health. She is passionate about helping the community manage acute and chronic illnesses and hopes to build trusting patient-physician relationships.
Medi is currently serving patients at our Sweetwater practice located at 4660 Sweetwater Blvd., Suite 210, Sugar Land, TX 77479. She will be moving to our new Aliana Comprehensive Care Clinic when it opens in January 2022, located at 10745 W. Grand Parkway S., Suite 100, Richmond, TX 77407.
Medi has lived in the Houston area her entire life and feels connected to and inspired by the community. She enjoys living near family and her family is the foundation of her core values as a physician. Medi is the first female physician in her family and is proud and humbled to have the opportunity to practice medicine.
