Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital is pleased to welcome Joan Burnham, MSN, RN, OCN, as our new oncology nurse navigator.
She transferred from Houston Methodist Willowbrook and will focus on thoracic, gastrointestinal and genitourinary cancers.
Joan received her Associate Degree in Nursing in 1985, her BSN in 2014 and her MSN in 2018.
Joan brings to us 30 years of oncology experience and has worked in the office, infusion, acute care and home health arenas.
She has served on the Oncology Nursing Society WOW Chapter board for 10 years and has also served as an Oncology Nursing Society Chemotherapy Trainer.
